An early ‘Grand Designs’ project for both Channel 4 and Squirrel Design; completed in 2005.
A planning restriction on the height of the building virtually dictated a flat roof. A tight budget raised the comment ‘perhaps we can only afford a box‘ the reply was ‘that is true – but we will make it a very interesting box’. The rest is history.
